Wheee! More retro horror! Ooh, what kind? Is it all 80’sey with synth music and Rubiks cubes in every scene? Is it 60’s grindhousey with the make-believe film defects airbrushed in so you’ll know you’re supposed to feel like this is old timey? I wonder what sort of color filters they’ll put on everything! I wonder if they will put in pretend commercials for others movies that someone will later crowdsource the funding to make as a sequel!

Okay, I got it. A crockumentary about a late night talk show, Halloween 1977 hosts an Amazing Randi without all the “likeable” and a gold-suited spirit talker without all the “not phony,” an author (there’s always an author) and their weird friend. Weird friend does weird stuff, Amediocre Randi calls everyone stupid, then the devil kills television.
All in all, I call this one “okay.” Not amazing but better than “below average.” You’ll probably like it. Mido slept through it.
