With a name like that how can you go wrong? Let’s find out!
Another found-footage crockumentary. Colin… what was his last name? I already forgot. It’s something, let’s just call him Collin Hay for now. The front man for 80’s pop band Men At Work, is a pimpled-up over-actor from down-the-cape who killed a bunch of classmates and video taped it then put it online for the like-subscribe-follows. Now they’re making a real true definitely not phony documentary about it, complete with footage because real live true not at all phony baloney documentaries do that.
It’s an 85-minute movie, because there is such a thing as mercy in this world. Most of it is video manifesto about all the stuck-up bitches at Colin Hay’s high school who will all be sorry and then Colin will be super famous muhuhahaa! as well as real-life certainly not fake experts weighing in on the crimes as well as former classmates who remember him back when he was composing lyrics to “Land Down-Under” in his school notebook. It’s difficult to watch… because you have to sit through so much of this kid’s horrid monologue. Dude! Get ON with it! I’m sitting through a boat load of Plex commercials so that I can watch your exploits for free on my lunch break at work!

A third of the way into the move we watch the first victim, a 40-year-old woman who is somehow also a teenage high school goth. I blinked as it happened so I missed most of the footage. I would have rewound the movie but for fear that I’d accidentally go to far back and have to sit through more of that hammy monologue again. Not worth it. Next is the naked strangled ex-girlfriend. Yeah she’s naked but it’s not child porn because all these high school students are in their 30’s or so. By the third victim I was starting to nod off.
Total stinker. I should have known when I saw that Plex was the only service streaming this one.
