Capsule Review…

A crowdsource-funded Persian American Western Vampire movie…right, so it’s Persian, but it was made in Southern California, so it’s Persiafornian because I think that’s a thing. Also, it’s a Vampire movie, and somehow also a western. Oh, it’s also shot in B&W, so you know it’s just wicked artsy! Arash is a good kid. A good kid who steals cats and also steals jewelry from his clients and peddles drugs. His dad is a heroin addict whose dealer/pimp (he’s a multi-classed character) steals Arash’s really dope classic Thunderbird car. Fucking turd! Dealerpimp drives this car around town in his track suit (because that’s what Asiatic bad guys wear), a Klingon mustache and a big tattoo on his head that I believe translates from Farsi as “I’m Obviously The First Victim.”
It’s a mix of “Let the Right One In” and “The Good The Bad and the Ugly.”
